Do you know why Google purchased Youtube?

When Google purchased YouTube, it was simply one more expansion thing in the tech gaint's shopping rundown. Today, we are going to let you know what persuaded Google to simply ahead and purchase this little Silicon Valley startup.


The answer lies inside the inconceivable gathering of YouTube itself. Yes, a YouTube video – really one of the first ones to be transferred on the site – persuaded Susan Wojcicki that Google required YouTube. Wojcicki, now YouTube CEO,  led the search engine giant to acquire YouTube for $1.65 billion.


Nine years prior, in 2006, Wojcicki was Google's SVP for AdSense and Adwords. She was given the responsibility to run Google video activity and investigate alternatives to develop the venture. Fortunately, she caught a video of two Chinese young men lip-matching up to "As Long As You Love Me" by Backstreet Boys.


Discovering the video interesting and understanding its potential amusement remainder, she says, "that was the video that made me understand that 'Stunning, individuals everywhere throughout the world can make substance, and they don't need to be in a studio"
