Siri,which works as an intelligent personal assistant on Apple's iPhones, helped in saving the life of an eighteen-year-old teen named Sam Ray in Mufreesboro, Tennessee by calling 911. He told NBC that he is “thankful to be alive”.
The jack collapsed when Ray was attempting to make repairs underneath his truck, bringing about the 5,000 pound vehicle to fall on him and thusly catching his arms. Ray said, "This arm was over my head, tangled up. I know it was on the fumes on the grounds that it was burnt from here up"
To compound the situation, he was distant from everyone else at home and in a zone in which he likely wouldn't have been seen or heard by anybody until it was past the point of no return. While attempting to free himself, Ray unintentionally pressed the home button on his iPhone, which thus, enacted the Siri. That is the point at which he over and again advised Siri to "call 911". Emergency responders took Ray to the Vanderbilt LifeFlight based in Murfreesboro.

Talking about Siri, Ray informed NBC “I guess I’m engaged with an iPhone for the rest of my life. I owe them that.”
